I used to struggle with fitness with an injury too.

In 2011, I was injured in a near fatal motor vehicle accident. I was hospitalized for 6 days, suffered mild traumatic brain injury, and weakness due to spinal accessory nerve palsy.


I had to relearn how to walk.

I had to see a physical therapist for two years. 


Then, I had to figure out how to navigate fitness and health with a lifelong injury, and how to meld together personal training and physical therapy in a way that increased my quality of life. 


My journey and dedication to taking control and getting back in the driver's seat began.


I worked tirelessly as a personal trainer, physical therapy aide, and finished my occupational therapy degree. 


Now as a licensed occupational therapist and certified strength and conditioning coach, I have worked with thousands of clients who have injuries looking to return to their meaningful activities. Emotionally, I have felt the frustration of feeling weak and unable to get out of bed due to injury. However, I also know what it practically takes to rise from that situation and how to help others transform.

This program is a comprehensive system to identify 2 major areas for joint pain and weakness in the body:

1) Deficits in joint mobility and stability

2) Load intolerance

I will help you identify these areas, then provide a strength training plan based on evidence from scientific literature and my experience as an Occupational Therapist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach. I will also walk with you through the program, providing you guidance and accountability so you get stronger in less time.

We'll follow these proven steps to rebuild your body in 12 weeks so you are the strongest and most able bodied version of yourself.

SCHEDULE A FREE 30 MIN INTAKE SESSION

Discuss your fitness goals and injury history to receive customized insight on your training plan.

FITNESS ASSESSMENT

Receive a fitness assessment to determine your joint mobility and stability capabilities, load tolerance abilities, and your body's strengths and areas for improvement.

CUSTOM TRAINING PLAN

Training with an injury can be confusing. I will lay out a plan with written and video instructions to make your training plan simple, taking the guess work out of training. You will never have to ask, "am I doing the right movement? Am I doing too much?"

ONE ON ONE COACHING

I will coach you once a week and guide you through your program to provide accountability and encouragement through your training. I know what it's like to train with injuries, and I will progress your program steadily and make adjustments to avoid further injury.
